Is there any better feeling than walking barefoot on grass? Eco-friendly artificial grass feels wonderfully soft and is ideal for children and pets. Also good to know: the colour doesn’t run, so trousers with green knees are a thing of the past.

Cheaper

Artificial grass works out cheaper than real grass in the long run. Just work out for yourself how much you spend on grass seed, a lawnmower, electricity, fertiliser, weedkiller, and so on. The purchase price of eco-friendly artificial grass is higher than a bag of grass seed, but it’s a one-off cost.

Less maintenance

Artificial grass requires a different approach to maintenance than natural grass. It does not need to be mown or fertilised, and does not need to be watered during dry spells to stay green.

This means fewer mowing sessions and no need to use fertilisers or weedkillers to keep the lawn green and well-maintained. There is also no grass clippings produced when maintaining the lawn.

Artificial grass can also reduce water consumption for lawn maintenance, as watering to keep the grass green is not necessary.

Water-permeable artificial grass

Many people think that artificial grass isn’t water-permeable, but that’s not true. What’s more, artificial grass combined with a good sub-base actually allows more water to pass through than dry grass pitches. This is hugely important. Because climate change means that during the summer months we face long periods of drought, as well as torrential downpours: neither of which is good for your lawn! Thanks to our artificial grass, rainwater can seep into the ground, cooling the soil and relieving pressure on the drainage system.
